    Αποκάλυψη 15:1 — 16:7

15  Και είδα άλλο σημείο  στον ουρανό, μεγάλο και θαυμαστό, εφτά αγγέλους  με εφτά πληγές.  Αυτές είναι οι τελευταίες, επειδή μέσω αυτών θα φερθεί σε τέλος  ο θυμός  του Θεού.

   2  Και είδα κάτι που φαινόταν να είναι γυάλινη θάλασσα  ανακατεμένη με φωτιά, και εκείνους που βγαίνουν νικητές  από το θηρίο και από την εικόνα  του και από τον αριθμό  του ονόματός του να στέκονται κοντά στη γυάλινη θάλασσα,  έχοντας άρπες  του Θεού. 3  Και ψάλλουν τον ύμνο του Μωυσή,  του δούλου του Θεού, και τον ύμνο του Αρνιού,  λέγοντας:
   «Μεγάλα και θαυμαστά είναι τα έργα σου,  Ιεχωβά Θεέ, Παντοδύναμε.  Δίκαιες και αληθινές είναι οι οδοί σου,  Βασιλιά της αιωνιότητας.  4  Ποιος δεν θα σε φοβηθεί,  Ιεχωβά,  και δεν θα δοξάσει το όνομά σου,  επειδή εσύ είσαι ο μόνος όσιος;  Διότι όλα τα έθνη θα έρθουν και θα προσφέρουν λατρεία ενώπιόν σου,  επειδή φανερώθηκαν τα δίκαια διατάγματά σου».  

   5  Και έπειτα από αυτά, είδα, και το αγιαστήριο της σκηνής  της μαρτυρίας  ανοίχτηκε στον ουρανό,  6  και οι εφτά άγγελοι  με τις εφτά πληγές  πρόβαλαν από το αγιαστήριο, ντυμένοι με καθαρό, λαμπρό λινό  ύφασμα και περιζωσμένοι στα στήθη με χρυσές ζώνες. 7  Και ένα από τα τέσσερα ζωντανά πλάσματα  έδωσε στους εφτά αγγέλους εφτά χρυσές κούπες που ήταν γεμάτες με το θυμό του Θεού,  εκείνου που ζει στους αιώνες των αιώνων.  8  Και το αγιαστήριο γέμισε καπνό λόγω της δόξας του Θεού  και λόγω της δύναμής του, και κανείς δεν μπορούσε να μπει στο αγιαστήριο μέχρι να τελειώσουν οι εφτά πληγές  των εφτά αγγέλων.

16  Και άκουσα μια δυνατή φωνή  από το αγιαστήριο να λέει στους εφτά αγγέλους: «Πηγαίνετε και αδειάστε τις εφτά κούπες του θυμού  του Θεού στη γη».
   2  Και ο πρώτος  έφυγε και άδειασε την κούπα του στη γη.  Και εμφανίστηκε βλαβερό και κακόηθες έλκος  στους ανθρώπους που είχαν το σημάδι του θηρίου  και λάτρευαν την εικόνα του.  
   3  Και ο δεύτερος  άδειασε την κούπα του στη θάλασσα.  Και αυτή έγινε αίμα  σαν νεκρού ανθρώπου, και πέθανε κάθε ζωντανή ψυχή, ναι, αυτά που είναι στη θάλασσα.  
   4  Και ο τρίτος  άδειασε την κούπα του στους ποταμούς  και στις πηγές των νερών. Και έγιναν αίμα.  5  Και άκουσα τον άγγελο που ήταν πάνω από τα νερά να λέει: «Δίκαιος είσαι εσύ, Εκείνος που είναι και που ήταν,  ο Όσιος,  διότι πήρες αυτές τις αποφάσεις,  6  επειδή έχυσαν το αίμα αγίων και προφητών,  και τους έδωσες να πιουν αίμα.  Τους αξίζει».  7  Και άκουσα το θυσιαστήριο να λέει: «Ναι, Ιεχωβά Θεέ, Παντοδύναμε,  αληθινές και δίκαιες είναι οι δικαστικές σου αποφάσεις».  
 

15 And I saw in heaven another sign, great and wonderful, seven angels with seven plagues. These are the last ones, because by means of them the anger of God is brought to a finish.
      2 And I saw what seemed to be a glassy sea mingled with fire, and those who come off victorious from the wild beast and from its image and from the number of its name standing by the glassy sea, having harps of God. 3 And they are singing the song of Moses the slave of God and the song of the Lamb, saying:
      “Great and wonderful are your works, Jehovah God, the Almighty. Righteous and true are your ways, King of eternity. 4 Who will not really fear you, Jehovah, and glorify your name, because you alone are loyal? For all the nations will come and worship before you, because your righteous decrees have been made manifest.”

5 And after these things I saw, and the sanctuary of the tent of the witness was opened in heaven, 6 and the seven angels with the seven plagues emerged from the sanctuary, clothed with clean, bright linen and girded about their breasts with golden girdles. 7 And one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls that were full of the anger of God, who lives forever and ever. 8 And the sanctuary became filled with smoke because of the glory of God and because of his power, and no one was able to enter into the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished.

16 And I heard a loud voice out of the sanctuary say to the seven angels: “Go and pour out the seven bowls of the anger of God into the earth.”
      2 And the first one went off and poured out his bowl into the earth. And a hurtful and malignant ulcer came to be upon the men that had the mark of the wild beast and that were worshiping its image.
      3 And the second one poured out his bowl into the sea. And it became blood as of a dead man, and every living soul died, [yes,] the things in the sea.
      4 And the third one poured out his bowl into the rivers and the fountains of the waters. And they became blood. 5 And I heard the angel over the waters say: “You, the One who is and who was, the loyal One, are righteous, because you have rendered these decisions, 6 because they poured out the blood of holy ones and of prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve it.” 7 And I heard the altar say: “Yes, Jehovah God, the Almighty, true and righteous are your judicial decisions.”
